Four charged after police uncover $123K worth of drugs in Barrhaven

Ontario Provincial Police and Ottawa police officers turned up approximately $123,000 worth of dried cannabis and cannabis concentrates, including hash and edibles, at a home on Oakfield Crescent, leading to the arrest of four people.

The search happened on Wednesday, June 12.

Investigators also seized a large quantity of high-end cognac worth $3,900 per bottle and designer purses and watches.

Thi Thu Huong Pham, 39, of Ottawa, is charged with:

  • Possessing cannabis for the purpose of selling – Cannabis Act 10(2)
  • Possession of illicit cannabis – Cannabis Act 8(1)(b)
  • Possession of property obtained by crime – Criminal Code 354(1)(a)

Jack Skyler Dao, 18, of Ottawa, is charged with:

  • Possession of illicit cannabis – Cannabis Act 8(1)(b)

Celina Pham, 21, of Ottawa, is charged with:

  • Possession of illicit cannabis – Cannabis Act 8(1)(b)

Ngoc Diep Tran, 35, of Ottawa, is charged with:

  • Possessing cannabis for the purpose of selling – Cannabis Act 10(2)
  • Distribute illicit Cannabis – Cannabis Act 9(1)(a)
  • Possession of property obtained by crime – Criminal Code 354(1)(a)

All four accused have been released and are scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Ottawa on July 30.
