Centre d’accueil Champlain long-term care centre now up to six employees infected with COVID-19 after new cases reported

Two more employees at the Centre d’accueil Champlain long-term care centre in Vanier have tested positive for COVID-19.
A memo from Dean Lett, director of long-term care, confirmed the news Saturday evening in a memo to council members.
There have now been a total of six staff members at that home that have tested positive for the virus and one resident since an outbreak was declared on September 11.
All affected staff are in self-isolation at home, Lett says.
The home’s clinical team also continues to monitor the condition of the one affected resident.
Peter D. Clark Centre and Garry J. Armstrong home are also is still in an outbreak.
