Arnprior getting its own ‘Rink of Dreams’

A Renfrew County town is getting a new outdoor skating rink, thanks to a long-standing charity.
The Ottawa-Gatineau Youth Foundation has teamed up with the Town of Arnprior to open a Rink of Dreams, like the one outside Ottawa City Hall.
Arnprior's Rink of Dreams will be a permanent outdoor rink, which will feature free or low-cost recreational programming for young people and their families.
This is the 16th such rink to be constructed in eastern Ontario and western Quebec by the charity and its community partners.
The Ottawa-Gatineau Youth Foundation was previously known as the Ottawa Senators Foundation, until its split with the team earlier this year.
The Arnprior Rink of Dreams opens Tuesday, December 1.
