OPP investigating crash northwest of Brockville that killed 56-year-old man

A single-vehicle crash has killed a man northwest of Brockville.

The collision happened at County Road 42 and Washburn Road, around 8:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 24.

The lone occupant of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene. Police have identified him as Brian Eugene Daye, 56, from Delta, ON.

Washburn Road was closed for several hours after the crash, but has since re-opened.

The investigation continues, and anyone with any information is asked to contact the Leeds County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
