The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) is investigating three robberies that took place in a span of 10 days involving the same suspect.

The OPS said the incidents took place at a business in the 1000 block of Merivale Road on Oct. 30, Nov. 6 and Nov. 8 of this year and each time, the suspect entered partially covering his face with a hooded sweater and demanded cigarettes, cash and lottery tickets.

In one of the incidents, the suspect brandished a knife and fled on foot with the stolen items.

The suspect is described as a white male, between 30 and 35-years-old, shoulder length brown hair with a receding hairline, six feet tall, large build and some facial hair.

He was seen wearing a black zip up hooded sweater (with the hood up) and with an unidentified logo on the left side, black jogging pants, white socks and black shoes.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the OPS Robbery Unit at 613-236-1222, extension 5116.
