Ottawa Public Health reporting slight decrease in COVID-19 hospitalizations

Ottawa Public Health (OPH) is reporting an increase in COVID-19 hospitalizations on Friday, Nov. 11.
In its latest update, which is now released every Tuesday and Friday, the health unit is reporting 28 people in hospital with COVID-19, with two people in intensive care units (ICUs) because the virus. OPH is also reporting 13 new COVID-19 related deaths.
In its last update on Tuesday, Nov. 8, OPH reported 29 COVID-19 hospitalizations along with three people in ICUs and seven deaths.
There are 123 new COVID-19 cases reported since the last OPH update, and seven new outbreaks in institutional settings.
