Police seeking help in identifying woman involved in incident at Centretown community centre
The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) is asking for the public's help in identifying a woman who entered a community centre in the Centretown area and threatened a front desk clerk with a knife.
The incident took place on Oct. 23 at roughly 4:40 p.m. on the 300 block of Jack Purcell Lane.
The later fled on foot. The clerk did not sustain any injuries.
She is described as a Caucasian woman, approximately 35-years-old with blonde/brown shoulder length hair, black long-sleeved shirt, light brown rain boots and was carrying a brown purse.
