Olympiques steal one from Eagles on the road

The Gatineau Olympiques were able to overcome a late comeback from the hometown Cape Breton Eagles and squeaked out a 4-3 win on Thursday, Dec. 8 in Québec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) action.
Gatineau led 4-0 until Charles Boutin scored for the Eagles as the Olympiques went into the third period up by three goals.

Trevor Thurston and Cam Squires cut the lead to 4-3 but it wasn't enough.
Colin Ratt, Charles-Antoine Pilote, Cole Cormier and Donovan Arsenault all scored for the Olympiques who outshot their opponents 35-26.
Cormier's 18th goal of the season leads all Gatineau skaters.
Next up for Gatineau is a clash with the Halifax Mooseheads on Dec. 10.
