Westboro Beach pathway closure begins today until December 2023

Part of the Westboro Beach area redevelopment project, the National Capital Commission (NCC) is closing the lower pedestrian pathway and capital pathway from Westboro Beach to Island Park Drive.

The closure begins Dec. 17, and continues until December, 2023. Access to the Kichi Sibi Winter Trail will be maintained over the winter.

Pedestrians can use the Westboro Beach underpass near the eastbound land of the Sir John A. Macdonald parkway as a detour.
