Three charged in illegal drug trafficking investigation

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) began an investigation into illegal drug trafficking in April of this year and have announced the arrest of three individuals.
OPP’s East Region Community Street Crime Unit along with other police unites executed search warrants in Long Sault, Ingleside, and Cornwall on Sept. 5.
As a result, three people were arrested and charged. Police also found Canadian currently, a taser, imitation firearms, machetes, suspected cocaine and Loners MC attire.
According to a release by the OPP, the following individuals were charged with the following.
Robert Casselman, a 78-year-old from Long Sault:
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine
- Possession property obtained by crime under $5,000
Shawn Lewertoff-Theobald, a 33-year-old from Valleyfield, Quebec:
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine
Daniel Cameron, a 36-year-old from Cornwall:
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine
- Failure to comply with release order – 6X
- Possession of a prohibited device or ammunition
- Fail to comply with a probation order – 5X
- Possession property obtained by crime under $5,000
Casselman and Lewertoff-Theobald were released and will appear in court at a later date. Cameron remains in police custody.
