Suspect sought in robbery and attempted assault at Bayshore bus stop

The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) is asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect involved in a personal robbery.
Just after 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 19, a suspect boarded a bus at Tunney’s Pasture and travelled to Bayshore.
Once at the Bayshore bus stop, the suspect assaulted a woman on the bus and took her belongings.
The victim did not suffer any physical injuries.
Police say the suspect then exited the bus and was seen running towards an apartment building on Woodridge Crescent.
The suspect is described as:
- Black male
- Approximately 6’0” (183 cm) tall
- Thin build
The suspect was wearing a grey hoodie, black pants, and white running shoes at the time of the assault.
