Provincial police are noting the Canadian Army Reserve is conducting training, which could mean people will see more heavy-duty vehicles on Ottawa-area roads.
According to police, soldiers from 33 Canadian Brigade Group will participate in light utility vehicle training courses on provincial roads and highways between Ottawa and Petawawa. The trainings will take place from Nov. 30 to Dec. 23.
Officials are reminding the public to be cautious around the military vehicles. The routes include between Ottawa and Petawawa, Golden Lake, White Lake, Renfrew and Cobden.
“All measures are being taken to ensure minimum inconvenience in these areas during the exercise dates,” police said.
