Four people charged in Arnprior drug trafficking case

Police laid several charges after officers searched a home and vehicle in Arnprior and found multiple drugs and a weapon.
The incident happened on Jan. 24, and the investigation and multiple units with Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and officers from the Renfrew detachment executed two search warrants, one in a home and another of a vehicle on Burwash Street in the Town of Arnprior.
After searching, officials found nearly 28 grams of suspected cocaine, almost 20 pills of suspected trazadone, over four grams of crack cocaine and over 210 grams of an unknown white powder, which officials believe is a suspected cutting agent.
Police also seized a taser, seven cell phones, debt lists, almost $280 in cash and other things “typically associated with drug trafficking.”
As a result of the investigation, officers charged four people.
Brandon McCallum, 42, from Arnprior is facing:
- Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – two counts
- Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000
- Possession of weapon for dangerous purpose
- Unauthorized possession of weapon
- Failure to comply with release order – three counts
He was held for bail.
Archie Jolicoeur, 51 from Arnprior was charged with:
- Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking
- Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000
- Possession of weapon for dangerous purpose
- Unauthorized possession of weapon
- Failure to comply with release order – two counts
He was also held for bail
Tim Bourque, 41 and Courtney Clouthier, 31, from Arnprior, were both charged with:
- Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking
- Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000
- Possession of weapon for dangerous purpose
- Unauthorized possession of weapon
Both were released and have a court date in Pembroke on March 5.
