Teen arrested with loaded firearm after short chase in Overbrook

Police were called last Saturday afternoon to a community east of downtown for a disturbance.

They responded to an apartment building in the 200 block of Donald Street. The 911 caller told officers they saw someone with a weapon.

A group of suspects ran from police, who chased down three people. A loaded firearm was found on one of them.

As a result, an 18-year-old man has been charged with multiple firearm offences including possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking, possession of proceeds of crime and breach of probation.
