Wanted man with weapon, drug charges could be in Ottawa area

Provincial police are warning the public that a man wanted Canada-wide could be in the National Capital Region.

According to police, Adam Reid is not able to be located by the Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (R.O.P.E.) Squad, which is now asking for the public’s help in finding him.

Reid is breaching he’s statutory release and is serving a two-year, four-month and one-day sentence for:

  • Possess weapon for dangerous purpose
  • Possess schedule I/II substance for purpose trafficking
  • Possess property obtained by crime – under $5,000

The convict is described as a Caucasian man, 36 years old, and is 5’8″ and around 160 pounds. Reid has brown hair and blue eyes.

He is known to frequent Ottawa, Perth and Smiths Falls.
