Stolen truck rammed through front of Bank Street jewelry store

Police are investigating a jewelry store robbery after masked men entered the business after ramming a pick-up truck through the front.

Officials say it happened on Friday around 2:30 p.m. when four to five masked males entered the store at the 1700 block of Bank Street. The jewelry store with that address is Rafidain Co.

The suspects gained access through the front entrance after using a stolen truck and ramming it through the door. Police said a quantity of jewelry was taken, and the accused then left in a silver SUV. No one was injured in the incident.

Officers are looking for people in the area around 2:25 and 2:45 p.m. to check video footage they could have.
