Road closures in Little Italy for annual Italian festival

The hamlet of Little Italy will be partially inaccessible to vehicles as a series of road closures make way for the Ottawa Italian Festival.

Preston Street will become the centre hub for activities like street parties and car parades as the festival highlights Italian music, dance and cuisine.

Preston Street, between Carling Avenue and Somerset Street West will be closed between 12 p.m. and 1 a.m. Saturday night into Sunday morning, and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday.

Additional parking restrictions may be in effect.

The road closures will impact some OC Transpo services. Service will continue to be available with some routes on detour. Additional information can be found on the OC Transpo website.
