13-year-old from East Hawkesbury dead in ATV crash

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) said in a release that a 13-year-old boy has died following an ATV crash in East Hawkesbury on Sunday.
According to officials, a single ATV rolled over with two individuals on board prior to 7 p.m. It occurred on what police describe as a private laneway on Concession Road 6.
The teen male of East Hawkesbury was taken to hospital but was later pronounced deceased.
A spokesperson with the OPP told CityNews that both occupants were wearing helmets at the time of the incident.
No injuries were reported to the other individual on the ATV.
Police wouldn’t say if speed was a factor and the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
