Police looking for witnesses after 3 people injured in serious east end crash

Two people were taken to hospital after a collision in Ottawa’s east end on Sunday evening.

It happened around 7:23 p.m., and emergency responders were called to the area where they found two vehicles had crashed on Tenth Line, south of Wall Road, in the community of Avalon.

A man in his 20s was sent to hospital with life-threatening injuries, while a woman in her 20s sustained minor injuries. In the other vehicle, a woman in her 50s was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Police are continuing the investigation. They are asking anyone who witnessed the crash or may have footage to speak to officials.
