Police narrow down to person of interest in fatal St. Laurent stabbing

The Ottawa Police Service is seeking the public’s help in identifying this person of interest in connection with a homicide investigation on St. Laurent Boulevard.

Officers are hoping someone in the public can help them identify a person of interest in connection to the city’s latest homicide.

In a press release and on social media, police released a short video of a person walking in the area of the 500 block of St. Laurent Boulevard in the late hours of Oct. 2 or early morning on the 3.

The person can be seen wearing a dark puffer jacket, black pants with white socks and black sandals. They appear to be wearing a surgical face mask with the hood of the jacket pulled up.

Officials are asking anyone who recognizes the individual to call the homicide unit at 613-236-1222, extension 5493.
