Ottawa woman charged in string of commercial break-ins

An Ottawa woman is facing several charges following a series of break-ins at local businesses on Merivale Road.

Ottawa police say the woman allegedly broke into two commercial businesses four times during the early morning hours between Feb. 3 and 10.

The 41-year-old woman has now been charged with four counts of break and enter and two counts of mischief under $5,000.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the Ottawa Police Break and Enter Unit at 613-236-1222, ext. 4533, or submit an anonymous tip to Crime Stoppers.
