Police looking for more victims in sexual assault case involving minors

A 20-year-old Ottawa resident is facing several charges of sexual assault and harassment in an investigation.

Police arrested and charged Mohamed Habib with:

Sexual interference with a person under 16 years of age x2
Sexual assault x2
Harassment by threatening conduct to another person x1

Officers said they first launched the case in early March. They do believe there are more victims from the nation’s capital linked to the investigation.

They are asking anyone with information to contact them.

The accused is expected to appear in court on April 16.
