Porter Airlines is connecting the nation’s capital with two Ontario cities.
The daily schedule will bring people to Windsor and Sudbury in only a few hours’ flight from Ottawa. Both are non-stop routes. It also means people from the two cities can connect faster through Ottawa’s International Airport, allowing easier travel to larger destinations.
Or they can stay right in the heart of Ottawa.
“Whether it’s a quick getaway, family visit or business trip, travellers can now explore world-class museums, the renowned Rideau Canal, and the history and culture of Ottawa,” the press release notes.
Those travelling on Porter Airlines will receive complimentary beer or wine and because of the plane’s size, there are no middle seats.
“The launch of the Windsor and Sudbury service is the next step in building Ottawa into a stronger hub for Porter,” Andrew Pierce, vice president, network planning and reporting, Porter Airlines, said. “Travellers have non-stop access to the nation’s capital and to an increasing number of connecting flights across the country.”
