1 home with bullet holes after shots rang out in east end

Officers were on scene early Wednesday morning after multiple people reported hearing gunfire in a residential community.

Police from the guns and gangs unit are looking into what officers believe to be a targeted shooting. The incident happened around 4:00 a.m. on Fine Crescent in the Pineview neighbourhood, off Cyrville Road.

Multiple 911 calls reported hearing the shots ringing out, with one person reporting their house had been hit.

Officers at the scene found evidence of a shooting and no injuries. They have not made an arrest in connection with the case. No suspect information was released by officials.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Ottawa police at 613-236-1222, extension 5050.
