Teen driver suffers life-threatening injuries after vehicle crashes into a tree

Officials are appealing for witnesses after a single-vehicle crash sent three people to hospital Thursday evening.
The vehicle was carrying three people, including the 17-year-old driver. According to police, the vehicle left the roadway near the 1400 block of Old Carp Road around 9:36 p.m. and hit a tree
Firefighters were called to the scene to help remove two people trapped inside. They stabilized the vehicle before extricating the people.
One passenger suffered minor injuries, but the driver sustained life-threatening injuries, and the other passenger was in serious condition, the police press release reads.
Investigators are hoping for people to come forward with information about the crash, who may have footage of the vehicle around that time.
