One arrested in Tuesday morning robbery at Rideau/Dalhousie

Ottawa Police say in a release Tuesday morning that a suspect has been arrested in an ongoing investigation into a morning robbery.

Authorities say just after 7:30 a.m. on July 27, they responded to reports of a robbery at Rideau St and Dalhousie St.

At approximately 7:34 a.m. this morning, officers responded to reports of a robbery in the area of Rideau and Dalhousie Street.

One person was arrested; the investigation is ongoing.

OPS says the suspect has been arrested and that the investigation is still ongoing. They also say there is no threat to public safety as a result of the incident.
