Police looking for video, witnesses to stabbing near park

Officials are investigating after a person was stabbed early Wednesday morning on Rochester Street.

Police and paramedics responded to the West Centretown neighbourhood around 12:22 p.m. after a victim called 911 to say they had been stabbed near a park.

The victim was taken to hospital in serious but non-life-threatening condition.

Officers are looking to speak with anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have video footage.

The investigation is ongoing, police say.
