Man in hospital with life-threatening injuries after collision with vehicle on Bank Street

A man is in the hospital with life-threatening injuries after a crash with a motor vehicle on Saturday afternoon.

At 1:21 p.m. on Sept. 26, officers were called to the scene of a collision between a motor vehicle and a pedestrian on Bank Street. The pedestrian, a 74-year-old man, was taken to Ottawa Civic Hospital in critical condition.

Officials are asking anyone with information or who might have cameras on their properties or cars that may have captured the collision to contact police.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Fatal Collision Investigation Unit at 613-236-1222 Ext 2345.
