Kanata employee hands over cash in robbery

Ottawa police are seeking the identity of a man who is accused of robbing a business in the west end earlier this month.
According to the release, police said that on Sept. 12, just before 11:00 p.m., a man entered a commercial business in Kanata. It happened in the 700 block of March Road.
The man told the employee it was a robbery and the staff member handed over the sum of cash.
There were no injuries, officers said.
The suspect is described as a white man in his 30s, with a goatee and a slender build. At the time of the incident he was wearing a black Ottawa Redblacks sweatshirt, black pants and white running shoes.
