Ottawa man charged after suspected cocaine, Dilaudid pills found

A search warrant executed in an Ottawa Valley city led to the arrested of a 25-year-old with trafficking charges.
Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) said in a release that they were looking into a suspected drug operation in the City of Pembroke. On Sept. 23, they went to a residence with several other units.
During the search they found a quantity of suspected cocaine and Dilaudid pills, with some Canadian cash.
As a result a 25-year-old from Ottawa is facing the following charges:
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking a schedule I substance (cocaine)
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking a schedule I substance (opioid)
- Possession of proceeds obtained by crime under $5,000
- Fail to comply with probation order – three counts
He’s being held for a bail hearing and is expected to remain in custody until his next court appearance.
