Adopt Me: Looking for a co-pliot? Then Hamu's your guy (adopted)

He is a very loving and playful kitty

OttawaMatters, in partnership with the Ottawa Humane Society, brings you a regular feature highlighting a special pet that is in need of adoption.

Hamu (ID# A232814), is a six-month-old kitten who is searching for his purr-fect forever home.

"The staff at the OHS call me a 'Co-pilot'! Co-pilots thrive on being an involved family member, and will likely want to spend a good chunk of their time with you playing, chatting, training, and snoozing."

Hamu is a very loving and playful guy that can’t wait to explore his future home!

For more information about Hamu please visit

With the Shirley Kearns Memorial Adoption Centre currently closed due to the COVID-19 outbreak, adoptions are currently done on an appointment basis. If you are interested in adopting me, please call the OHS to book an appointment at 613-725-3166 ext. 258.

Items you must have with you: proof of address, photo ID, animal carrier.

Unable to adopt? Share this feature on social media so each animal can get the exposure it needs and find a loving home.
