Adopt Me: Calvin is a very social kitty

He would prefer a home with older children where he is the only pet

CityNewsOttawa, in partnership with the Ottawa Humane Society, brings you a regular feature highlighting a special pet that is in need of adoption.

Calvin (ID# A234433), is an eight-year-old cat looking to find into his purr-fect forever home.

He is a very social cat who would thrive by being an involved member of the family!

He is looking for a home with older children, and no other animals.

Calvin has excessive inflammation of my gums, possibly due to feline chronic gingivostomatitis (FCGS). He will require regular veterinary check-ups to monitor this condition. It is possible he will require ongoing veterinary dental care under anesthesia to manage my condition.

With the Shirley Kearns Memorial Adoption Centre currently closed due to the COVID-19 outbreak, adoptions are currently done on an appointment basis. If you are interested in adopting me, please call the OHS to book an appointment at 613-725-3166 ext. 258.

Items you must have with you: proof of address, photo ID, animal carrier.

Unable to adopt? Share this feature on social media so each animal can get the exposure it needs and find a loving home.
