Adopt Me: Fiona would make the purr-fect assistant (adopted)

She is looking for a home without other cats

CityNewsOttawa, in partnership with the Ottawa Humane Society, brings you a regular feature highlighting a special pet that is in need of adoption.

Fiona (ID# A232292), is an eight-year-old cat who has been waiting for her purrfect forever home for over four months!

Fiona’s favourite activities include exploring, playing and spending time with her favourite people.

"I had a thin, short, or patchy coat while at the shelter. This could be from a variety of reasons, from a food allergy to skin condition or illness-but we don’t know for sure.

I am currently doing well and my coat is growing in. It may continue to improve or I may need further diagnostics, treatment, or other care from a veterinarian.

I am looking for a home without other cats."

With the Shirley Kearns Memorial Adoption Centre currently closed due to the COVID-19 outbreak, adoptions are currently done on an appointment basis. If you are interested in adopting me, please call the OHS to book an appointment at 613-725-3166 ext. 258.

Items you must have with you: proof of address, photo ID, animal carrier.

Unable to adopt? Share this feature on social media so each animal can get the exposure it needs and find a loving home.
