Adopt Me: Rex enjoys exploring and playing with toys (adopted)

He would love to stay with his foster friend Baby but can they be adopted separately

OttawaMatters, in partnership with the Ottawa Humane Society, brings you a regular feature highlighting a special pet that is in need of adoption.

Meet Rex (ID# A227239), a two-year-old black domestic short-hair looking for his forever family.

"Hi, my name is Rex. The staff at the OHS call me a star! Stars tend to be self-starters and like to spend part of their day on independent activities, like exploring every nook and cranny of your home.

They also enjoy time with their family, but usually on their own terms. Their favourite family activities may include playing with engaging toys, participating in fun training games, or curling up for a nap somewhere close by.

Stars may also be good candidates for harness training and leash walks outdoors. If you’re looking for an entertainer with loads of personality, a Star might just be the purrfect match for you!

I have been enjoying my time in my foster home with a feline friend named Baby. We love each other and get along great together. We would love to stay together but can be adopted separately."

With the Shirley Kearns Memorial Adoption Centre currently closed due to the COVID-19 outbreak, adoptions are currently done on an appointment basis. If you are interested in adopting me, please call the OHS to book an appointment at 613-725-3166 ext. 258.

Items you must have with you: proof of address, photo ID, animal carrier
