Monday. Another week, and the occupation of Ottawa does not appear to be any closer to ending. There are some notable updates this morning.

11:45 - "I'll continue to push those two orders of government to get us the necessary resources."

Mayor Jim Watson joins Rob with details on a deal his office apparently brokered over the weekend with one convoy organizer in an attempt to get trucks occupying the downtown streets to move out of residential areas.

29:40 - "It's a definite step forward, whatever capability and tools they don't have this will give it to them."

Crisis communication expert Barry McLoughlin from TransformLeaders.ca joins Rob for an abbreviated conversation before we join a live announcement from Premier Ford.

David Sali from the Ottawa Business Journal joins Rob with a different perspective on the downtown occupation disruption.

19:51 - "What I'm asking for is Section 275 of the National Defence Act...for personnel and equipment to help our police service."

City councillors Carol Anne Meehan and Matt Luloff join Rob to explain why they are moving a motion at Tuesday's city council committee would ask the Ontario Government to do what it can to request military help for Ottawa's downtown.
