Wednesday. The coroner's inquest into the 2015 triple femicide that shocked Renfrew County has concluded with 86 new recommendations for the Ontario government to address intimate partner violence in the province.
8:46 - "The work that this jury has done to listen, to hear the evidence from members of the community, experts across the province and internationally and to synthesize all that they heard into these incredibly powerful recommendations...I think my clients were moved and inspired and after a short rest they're ready to get back to work to make sure the recommendations get implemented."
