Starting Tuesday, November 23, at 8 a.m., parents can start booking their kids' COVID-19 vaccination appointments through the provincial booking system.

Any child who is turning five years-old this year is considered to be eligible.

Ottawa Public Health (OPH) plans to introduce 73 after-hours school pop-up vaccination clinics over a four-week period with the goal to immunize 10,000 children per week.

The school clinics are intended to serve residents of the community where they are located, and appointments are not required.

Three additional vaccination hubs include:

  • The Nepean Sportsplex Curling Rink at 1701 Woodroffe Ave.
  • The former St. Patrick’s Intermediate School at 1485 Heron Rd.
  • Rideauview Community Centre and 4310 Shore Line Dr.

There are also clinics operating at the following locations:

  • The University of Ottawa Minto Sports Complex at 801 King Edward Ave.
  • JH Putman School at 2051 Bel-Air Dr.
  • Eva James Memorial Centre at 65 Stonehaven Dr.
  • Orleans Ruddy Family YMCA-YWCA at 265 Centrum Blvd.

Vaccines will also be made available at selected pharmacies in Ottawa and primary care providers.
