The $70 million jackpot for Lotto Max has yet to be won, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t winners to claim some hefty prizes — one of which is in Ottawa.
According to OLG, one Max Million prize-winning ticket worth $500,000 was sold in Canada’s capital in Friday’s draw.
There were also 44 Max Millions drawn on Friday night, six of which were won in Ontario.
Other winners can be found in Stoney Creek, London, Willowdale, Mississauga and Toronto, with Encore winners in Chatham-Kent and St. Catherines.
With the jackpot still in play, there is now $116 million in top prizing available to be won for the Tuesday, June 7 draw, which includes an estimated 46 $1 million Max Million prizes.
Since its launch in September 2009, Ontario Lotto Max players have won over $6.9 billion, including 91 jackpot wins at 757 Max Million prizes.
