Algonquin College reopening after power outage

There is a temporary power source being used, so air conditioning may not operate at 100 per cent capacity.
Algonquin College.

Algonquin College is reopening on Monday.

Around 2:30 p.m. Friday, hydro crews responded to an outage at the campus and the school had to be closed for the weekend.

According to the college, a temporary power source is being used so classes will return to normal.

The heating and cooling system is still not operating a full capacity, so air conditioning may not be fully operational.

The source of the outage still has not been determined, but the college expects to have more information this week.
