Atlético Ottawa signs Karl Ouimette to a two-year contract

Atlético Ottawa announced on Jan. 31 that the Canadian Premier League (CPL) club has signed Canadian defender Karl Ouimette on a two-year contract.

Ouimette began his career with CF Montreal (formerly-Montreal Impact), graduating from the club's academy before joining New York Red Bulls on a permanent deal in 2015.

The Terrebonne, Que.-born defender was featured 38 times in Major League Soccer (MLS) before enjoying successful periods in the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) and the United Soccer League (USL).

Atlético Ottawa has signed Canadian defender @karlouimette on a two-year deal.
