Capital Pride hosting candlelight vigil for victims of Club Q shooting

Capital Pride is organizing a candlelight vigil on Thursday, Nov. 24 in honour of the victims killed in a shooting at an LGBTQ nightclub in Colorado Springs.

Daniel Aston, Raymond Green Vance, Kelly Loving, Ashley Paugh and Derrick Rump were killed in the attack at Club Q and at least 19 others were injured, most by gunshots, police have said.

Anderson Lee Aldrich, 22, is facing murder and hate crime charges. 

The vigil is taking place at the Human Rights Monument, located at 220 Elgin Street beginning at 5 p.m.
