Charges laid in Vanier homicide

The Ottawa Police Service's Major Crime Unit has charged a man in relation to the death of 54-year-old Abigail Ootoova.
Abigail's body was found at an apartment on Jolliet Avenue in Vanier, Saturday evening.
Police responded to a disturbance call around 5 p.m. and discovered the woman's body.
Jed Ootoova, 29, has been charged with second degree murder.
