A Country 101.1 fundraiser in Carp, for residents impacted by the tornadoes on Friday, raised $15,000 toward the recovery efforts.
Organized by the country radio station, Charlie Major and David James played an acoustic set for a full house at Ridge Rock Brewing Company, Tuesday night.
Major and James even performed a few songs later for fans who showed up for the show, but couldn't get in.
The event raised $7,500, which was then matched by the Ottawa Senators Foundation to bring the total to $15,000.
Country 101.1 fans also donated goods to the Salvation Army and Ottawa Food Bank at the concert -- enough to fill four vans.
