COVID-19 community vaccination clinics now accepting walk-ins as booster uptake slows

By Dani-Elle Dubé

Getting your COVID-19 booster shot is as easy as walking into a community vaccination clinic near you.

On Friday, January 14, Ottawa Public Health (OPH) announced that several community clinics in the city are now accepting walk-ins of eligible people still needing their first, second or third dose of a vaccine.

This, OPH said, is because booster uptake in the city has slowed, so slots are now open for walk-ins.

Community clinics accepting walk-ins include:

  • EY Centre
  • Nepean Sportsplex
  • Former St. Patrick’s Intermediate School at 1485 Heron Rd.
  • Rideauview Community Centre
  • University of Ottawa’s Minto Sports Complex
  • JH Putman School
  • Eva James Memorial Centre
  • Orleans Ruddy Family YMCA-YWCA
