Sherwood Park Manor, a long term care home in Brockville, has declared a COVID-19 outbreak at its facility.
According to the Leeds, Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit, one resident has tested positive for the virus at the home located on County Road 2 East.
“This is a concerning time for our home community, and for our families,” Alfred O’Rourke, administrator for Sherwood Park Manor, said. “We will continue to keep them informed.”
The home says the resident has been isolated to their room.
Enhanced infection control measures have been put in place to manage the outbreak and are being monitored by the health unit.
