COVID-19 outbreak status declared at Peter D. Clark long-term care home

The Peter D. Clark long-term care home has been placed on outbreak status after a second employee tested positive for COVID-19.
It's the second staff member to test positive at the city-run centre in the last month.
The city says two staff members are currently self-isolating at home and staff, residents, and family members are being notified.
The city says the health and safety of its residents and employees is its top priority and it will continue to follow the advice of OPH to ensure protection against COVID-19 while providing care and delivering essential services.
