The Leeds, Grenville and Lanark Health Unit has set up a dedicated phone line to answer questions about COVID-19.

Residents are now able to call for local updates on the vaccine rollout, the latest infection numbers, and restrictions.

The phone line is open seven days a week, from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.

During Stage 1 of the Leeds, Grenville and Lanark COVID-19 Vaccine Distribution and Administration Rollout Plan, 472 individuals have received the vaccine, between January 13 and January 18.

That health unit includes the towns of Smiths Falls, Almonte, Brockville, Gananoque, Kemptville, and Perth.

You can call the Leeds, Grenville and Lanark Health Unit at 1-800-660-5853 ext. 2100.
