No injuries were reported after a blaze in the city's east end on Wednesday night.
A three-alarm fire was declared at the commercial building at 1475 Star Top Road, near Cyrville around 8 p.m.
Firefighters were put on the defensive, forcing them to battle the blaze from outside of the one-storey mall as they also dealt with transformers that were arcing.
Live wires and structural issues were hazards they had to consider when dealing with the fire.
The fire ripped through the entire building, causing the roof to collapse.
It took just over two hours to get the fire under control.
Damages are estimated to be above $1 million.
Three businesses were affected by the fire.
