Death of man found at Ottawa east end recycling facility deemed not suspicious

OPS' Homicide Unit did confirm to CityNews Ottawa on Saturday, September 11 that Mcauley-Teasdale, 58, was known to police but would not divulge further details.

The death of a man whose remains were found at an east end recycling facility in Ottawa has been deemed not criminally suspicious. 

The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) was called to the facility on Sheffield Road on Friday, September 10, after human remains were found.

Investigators are waiting on the toxicology report but they have determined no foul play in the death of 58-year-old James Macauley Teasdale.

Initially, police said the circumstances around the death were considered suspicious.
