Driver with two kids in car caught going 156 km/h on Queensway

A driver is facing a stunt driving charge after they were caught going 56 km/h over the speed limit on Highway 417 in Ottawa with two young children in the vehicle.

OPP say they stopped a vehicle driving 156 km/h on the Queensway near the March Road and Eagleson Road exit shortly after 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 25.

There were four people in the car, two were children.

Should the driver be found guilty of the stunt driving charge, it means their licence will be suspended for 30 days and their vehicle will be impounded for a week.
